Given the quarantine ramifications of COVID-19, Pitkin County, Colorado, was forced to shut down their offices, and county plan reviewers were left to review and approve project plans by working from home. As one of the most continually expansive counties in the U.S., a high volume of projects remained in progress, so the county could not afford to slow down—despite the fact that government offices were closed.
Plan reviewers found that using Bluebeam® Revu® for electronic permitting and digital plan review was more efficient than being in the office. Even more valuable, the quality of the digital reviews, and trackable archives allowed via a central permit application tracking system, (PATS) powered by SagesGov, added even more transparency and increased productive collaboration with clients.
Now the county has a central repository where permits are submitted into one place. Reviews are completed within Revu and then saved back into the SagesGov portal, which allows multiple reviewers to search and open project archives. With the help of Bluebeam, Pitkin County can now process digital plan review, submit inspection submissions, add digital signatures with DocuSign, and even process online payments—all within a singular digital environment that can be accessed from anywhere.
In this webinar, on July 23rd at 9 am PST, we’ll discuss:
